What to Expect
10U-12U. Emphasis on fundamentals and skills
development, pitching, playing competitive softball and
preparing to play in high school. Spokane Girls Fastpitch
softball representatives will be on site to answer questions
about Club Softball, our Summer Classic and Fall Invite
tournaments.
14U-18U. Emphasis on skills development in hitting, pitching,
fielding, conditioning. Hear from high school and college
coaches about playing at the next level and preparing for
college softball.
What to Bring
Attendees should wear appropriate softball attire (t-shirt,
shorts, etc.) for indoor play. Additionally, attendees should
bring a glove and tennis shoes (no cleats are allowed in
facilities). Any additional equipment (bat, helmet) is
encouraged. Please clearly mark all individual items.
Clinic Cost: $50

Special Guests/Instructors
Taylor Van Zee
Taylor graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 and played third base. She was All- Pac-12 First Team, Pac-12 All Defensive, Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, Pac-12 Player of the Week, NFCA All-Region Second Team and set the Husky record for career postseason hits with 37.
Taran Alvelo
2016-2019 – University of Washington – All-American pitcher for the Huskies who led the team to several appearances at the Women’s College World Series. In 2019, Taran was on the All-WCWS Team, All-Pack-12 First Team and NFCA All-Region First Team. She played in the NPF league over the summer for the USSSA Pride and also played on the Puerto Rican National Team.
